VideoBlocks for Education and the University of Minnesota have partnered together to offer students, faculty and staff audio, graphic and video material at no cost during a 2-month trial.
The free trial, which began in October and is set to end in December, offers UMN students, faculty and staff access to over $10 million worth of quality, copyrighted, free digital content which is perfect for aiding students in taking their upcoming final projects and presentations to the next level, and is also beneficial for updating websites and promotional pieces on a departmental level.
The VideoBlocks for Education is composed of three different resources: VideoBlocks, AudioBlocks and Graphic Stock. VideoBlocks offers a large variety of stock video clips, After Effect templates and motion backgrounds. AudioBlocks allows users access to royalty-free production music, sound effects and loops, while GraphicStock houses royalty-free photos, vectors, illustrations and many other design elements.
VideoBlocks for Education is constantly updating their platforms, adding thousands of new clips, templates and designs twice every month.
Along with supplying creative content, VideoBlocks for Education also offers tutorials on file formatting,vector images and filmmaking tips.
The VideoBlocks for Education suite is simple to use, and provides scalable and secure resources. Users simply visit the videoblocks website and download their choice of material. All items downloaded within the 2-month trial will remain available after the December 31 deadline.
After using the site and its services, users are asked to complete a survey, which will determine if the partnership will stay in effect in 2016.
