The two sites I want to bring your attention to this week have little in common. One is for left brain functions (planning, logic, and productivity), while the other site is for your fun-loving right brain and may appeal to your creativity side. However, they both have easy, streamlined interfaces and just plain neat to work with in both academic and personal pursuits.
Doodle is a free online calendar tool for scheduling meetings and can stand alone or work in concert with Google Calendar. It is particular helpful for scheduling meetings with large groups and can help you determine what date and time is best for the most number of people.
COLOURlovers is a technically a social network that focuses on color trends and design inspiration. You can make and share color palettes and patterns. For example, I made a shared palette with the U of M’s “official” colors.
